ASL Interpreter

Minimum Qualifications:
2 years paid interpreting experience in a variety of settings
Paid experience providing interpreting services as part of a team
High degree of comfort working from ASL to English
High degree of comfort providing interpretation in settings with multiple participants who communicate in ASL
High degree of comfort providing platform interpreting
Excellent communication abilities in both written and spoken English as well as ASL
Strong commitment to ongoing professional development
Preferred Qualifications:
Nationally-recognized certification as a sign language interpreter
Experience working in Deaf/hearing teams
Degree in sign language interpreting
Experience, interest, and/or training in legal interpreting
Experience working with novice interpreters
