COVID-19 Protocols

At this time of unprecedented uncertainty, Hallenross & Associates seeks to support the health and well-being of employees and customers as we all adapt to the multifaceted

challenges of today’s workplace.

Hallenross recognizes that, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, face-to-face, onsite interpreting scenarios present potential risks. Since our work is often conducted at

another’s work site, interpreters are subject to the customer’s understanding and adherence to state’s guidelines and best practices. As the state cautiously moves to

open up the economy, the following steps will be implemented until further notice based on orders issued by the State of Ohio and Ohio Department of Health.

Onsite COVID-19 Safety Protocols. Safety is paramount as we navigate the multifaceted challenges of today's workplace. With this in mind, onsite interpreting requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Customers must maintain appropriate social distancing, have fewer than 10 participants, and employ temperature-checking protocols. Hallenross will provide interpreters with PPE, schedule interpreters with aim to minimize community spread, encourage frequent hand washing, and encourage shorter meeting times to minimize the number of interpreters needed. Interpreters may remove themselves from an assignment if ODH Guidelines are not followed. Remote interpreting services will continue to be our primary means of service provision. Questions?
